The band at ~100 kDa in both lanes represents the major vault protein (MVP). (B) SDS-PAGE analysis of sea urchin vaults both without (-) and with (+) RNase treatment. The 26.5 kDa band in the (-) RNase lane, which is missing in the (+) RNase lane, is thought to correspond to the sea urchin vRNA. Mr represents the molecular weight marker lane.
